A couple's 'Goodwill date night' challenge has gone viral

Dinner and a movie gets boring after a while, so this couple decided to switch it up and go on a Goodwill date.

The challenge was difficult but simple, each person had to use $10 to put together an outfit for the other person. The outfit then had to be worn for their date night, our affiliates WSYX and WTTE reported.

Noel Pauley wrote on Facebook on Monday that the couple created fake names to match their outfits.

"To top it off we made up fake names to match our outfits! We laughed so hard all night long," she wrote.

Pauley's Facebook post has gone viral, with more than 300,000 people sharing the post.

"Totally funny!!! Great idea!" one commenter said. Others weren't so thrilled, with one person writing "Na I'll pass lol."

Pauley later went on Facebook and wrote a few thoughts she had about people's reactions to the post.

"It's not about the store, it's about buying funny outfits for cheap," she said. "Keep your hate to yourself. We ain't about all that."
