Jimmy Carter reportedly collapsed at a Habitat for Humanity building site in Winnipeg


Reports from Winnipeg, Canada state former President Jimmy Carter collapsed at a Habitat for Humanity build Thursday morning.

According to CBC reporters attending the charity event, he was taken from the site after he experienced dehydration.

Habitat for Humanity CEO Jonathan Reckford released a statement confirming the incident, "President Carter told us he is okay and is being taken offsite for observation."

A spokesperson for the project said the 92-year-old former president is expected to recover.
