Actor Shia LaBeouf unleashed a profanity-laden rant against a police officer who arrested him in Savannah, GA last Saturday for disorderly conduct, obstruction and public intoxication.
“If I had my gun I’ll blow your shit up,” he says in body camera footage of his arrest released by TMZ Tuesday. “So you got your shit and do nothing.”
“You’re a bitch for league,” LaBeouf adds while locked in the back of a police cruiser. “Not for years, but for leagues. You’re a pirate bitch.”
“I pay my taxes, you dumb bitch. You made this trip for nothing. You’re about to meet my lawyer. That’s your legacy, you fucking coward.”
Some Twitter users on Tuesday criticized LaBeouf for his behavior, pointing to his mistreatment of the police last weekend.
Sooooooo Shia Labeouf hey? What's up with that? After watching the footage how is he alive or even out on bail? Threatening to shoot a cop?— Matthew Corry (@MatthewCorry78) July 11, 2017
LaBeouf additionally accused a police officer of “putting your own kind in the fucking pen for nothing” during his arrest.
TMZ reported last Saturday that police officers said LaBeouf approached someone for a cigarette in Savannah, GA and began swearing when he was refused.
LaBeouf then fled to his hotel when cops tried arresting him, leading to his capture in the lobby when he kept resisting.
The actor, who has starred in such movies as “Transformers” and “Fury,” was ultimately released from jail around 11 a.m. EST Saturday morning on a $3,500 bond.
LaBeouf has reportedly had previous brushes with the law, having been arrested in 2014 and 2008 for incidents involving alcohol.
