A 32-year-old from Serbia and a 34-year-old from Greece were arrested shortly after the fight, according to The Washington Post. Six others, all from Serbia, were arrested by authorities in connection with the incident.

An Austin man was killed Thursday in a street fight on a Greek island, according to local media reports.

According to the Greek news website kathimerini.gr, 22-year-old Bakari Henderson, of Austin, died on the island of Zakynthos. It started as a confrontation between Henderson and employees of a nightclub in the town of Laganas. It spilled out into the street where Henderson was beaten and killed.

Reportedly, surveillance video showed 10 people were involved. Eight people have been arrested and are set to appear in court Saturday, according to ABC News.

His family says Bakari was in Greece working on a photo shoot to launch his own clothing line.

"Bakari loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, and meeting new people. He was a big thinker and enjoyed coming up with new business ventures. Bakari was an inspiration to all he met. He loved life and lived it to the fullest," his family said in a statement obtained by affiliate KEYE.

He graduated from the University of Arizona this year with a degree in business finance and entrepreneurship.

The president of the university released a statement Friday, mourning the loss of Henderson.
