Several relatives of Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden were among those shot at a Little Rock, Ark. nightclub on Saturday, USA Today reported.
In a message on Twitter Mcfadden said, "The other night, while at home, I received a call from my nephew that there was a shooting at the club (Power Ultra Lounge) where he and some of my relatives were. He told me that he got shot, many other people were shot and that some of my relatives were among those shot."
He also thanked everyone for their support.
McFadden revealed in the Tweet he was at the scene the night of the shooting to check on his family and to offer help.
The Saturday shooting too place during a rap concert, where there were 29 injuries and no reported deaths, according to the Little Rock Police Department.
McFadden is a Little Rock Native and was a Heisman finalist at the University of Arkansas.
