Crayola opened its contest to name the newest crayon

It's out with the old and in with the new at Crayola, where the company is asking for help in naming its newest crayon. Voting opened Saturday in a contest to identify the shade of blue, CNN reported.

There are five names to select from: Blue Moon Bliss, Bluetiful, Dreams Come Blue, Reach for the Stars, and Star Spangled Blue.

Fans are able to vote once each day until the contest concludes August 31.

That's not it, though. The company is offering incentives to vote. Daily prizes will be awarded and all entries qualify for a grand prize of a four-person trip to the Crayola Experience attraction in Orlando, Fla. Other prizes include a $1,00 gift card, $00 Crayola prize pack and a $1,000 donation to a school arts program.

The blue pigment, known as YInMN, was announced as the latest color to replace the newly retired "dandelion yellow" in May. The shade of blue was discovered in 2009 by Oregon State University chemist Mas Subramanian, according to a press release.
