WATCH | A subway car derailed in New York City on Tuesday morning.

A subway car derailed in New York City on Tuesday, causing a power outage that resulted in loss of service on four lines.

The incident occurred just before 10 a.m. near the 125th Street Station in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan.

The derailment caused a smoke condition, and three or four people are now being checked for minor smoke inhalation. The Fire Department of New York is investigating what caused the incident.
