Clinton had some harsh words about the GOP's plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare

Hillary Clinton says Republicans passing their ObamaCare repeal-and-replace bill in the Senate would make the GOP into “the death party.”

Clinton, who sought the presidency in 2016, cited a joint study from the Center for American Progress and Harvard University researchers.

The study claims that healthcare coverage losses should the Senate bill pass may cause between 18,100 and 27,700 additional deaths in 2026.

Clinton earlier Friday urged her Twitter followers to “speak out against” the Senate GOP’s healthcare bill.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Friday issued his own dire warning about the legislation’s potential effects.

“This is not trying to be overly dramatic,” he told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell. “Thousands of people will die.”

Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV) on Friday became the fifth Republican senator who opposes the current version of his party’s Senate ObamaCare repeal bill.

“It’s going to be very difficult to get me to a yes,” he said during a press conference, according to The Hill.

Heller joins Sens. Rand Paul (KY), Ted Cruz (TX), Mike Lee (UT) and Ron Johnson (WI) in rejecting the legislation’s present form.

Republicans have a thin 52-48 majority in the Senate, leaving them with only two defections assuming Vice President Mike Pence breaks a tie.
