Oprah Winfrey said 'I will never run for public office'

Media mogul Oprah Winfrey quickly denounced rumors that she will be in the running to become the next commander-in-chief.  Despite speculation, Oprah made it clear that she has no intentions of running for office or any political seat.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Oprah was asked if she could beat Donald Trump if he ran for a second term. “I don’t know. I don’t know the answer to that,” she responded. “But I will never have to know the answer to that because I will never run for public office."

People began speculating about Oprah's future political career after she suggested earlier this year that President Trump's rise from reality star to leader of the free world, left her wondering whether she'd have a shot at getting elected to the White House.
