Eric Trump forcefully denied collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials during the 2016 presidential election in an interview that aired Tuesday on "Good Morning America."
"The greatest hoax of all time. I was there throughout the campaign. We have no dealings in Russia, we have no projects in Russia, we have nothing to do with Russia," said Trump.
Eric's brother, Donald Trump Jr., echoed his sentiment, saying the investigations were witch hunts.
The two Trump sons commented on The Trump Organization's announced expansion into middle-class hotels with a brand of three-star inns called American Idea, saying that their motivations for starting the chain were in no way political.
The two said that during their time on the campaign trail, they stayed in many different kinds of hotels and inns in many small markets.
"And we just saw there, there was a void missing. And I think we're excited to try to fill it," said Donald Jr.
The two also defended their father's criticism of London Mayor Sadiq Khan after three men killed seven people on Tower Bridge in London on Saturday, saying that the president's words were justified.
Speaking of radical ideology, Donald Jr. said, “We keep appeasing it. And we keep saying, OK, it's gonna be great. We're gonna hold fast and we're gonna ‘keep calm and carry on.’ Maybe we have to keep calm and actually do something.”
