WATCH | A man saved a driver having seizure by diving into his car through the window.

Randy Tompkins, 39, saved a driver's life after jumping into the man's vehicle after he saw him having a seizure.

Tompkins noticed the driver was driving in the wrong lane heading toward him and his wife. Tompkins told the Chicago Tribune that he realized the driver was having a seizure when he saw the driver's arms up by his chest.

Tompkins reacted immediately. He jumped through the window of the driver's car, which was moving about 10 mph, and put his fingers into the driver's mouth to prevent him from biting his tongue.

The driver survived the seizure, according to the Chicago Tribune, and he later went on Facebook to thank the man that saved his life.

"He messaged me and thanked me and said he was going to go see a couple doctors because it was the very first seizure that he's ever had," Tompkins told the Tribune. "I asked him to keep me posted and he said he would do so."
