A Louisiana lawmaker said every 'radicalized Islamic suspect' should be hunted and killed

Rep. Clay Higgins said in a Facebook post on Saturday that "radicalized Islamic" suspects should be hunted down and killed, reports USA Today.

The post was made on Higgins' campaign Facebook page, but not his congressional one. Hundreds of comments were left discussing his words, and many of them criticized the representative.

"The leftist media is reading (Higgins' statement) at their convenience," Higgins' campaign adviser Chris Comeaux said Monday morning. "He is not talking about all of Islam."

"Not a single radicalized Islamic suspect should be granted any measure of quarter," Higgins posted Saturday after an attack on London bridge.

"Their intended entry to the American homeland should be summarily denied. Every conceivable measure should be engaged to hunt them down. Hunt them, identity them, and kill them. Kill them all. For the sake of all that is good and righteous. Kill them all."
