The Orlando shooter has been identified as 45-year-old John Robert Neumann Jr.
Neumann's criminal history includes marijuana possession, DUI and misdemeanor battery charges, according to Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings.

The deceased shooter turned the gun on himself after fatally shooting five others, CNN reported, citing police.
UPDATE 12:01 p.m. EST:
Seven people survived the shooting inside Fiamma Inc., which produces accessories for recreational vehicles.
The gunman, who had a minor police record and no known associations with any terror groups, was fired in April.
Police responded to a battery complaint against the gunman at Fiamma Inc. in 2014. The complainant was not among those killed in Monday's shooting.

Six people, including the gunman, are dead after what authorities are calling an instance of workplace violence Monday in Orlando, Florida, reports WFTV.
A 45-year-old disgruntled former employee in possession of a handgun and a knife fatally shot three males and one female. The employee also shot a fifth man, who was taken the hospital where he died.

The shooting took place in an industrial area on Forsyth Road near Hanging Moss Road and was reported shortly after 8 a.m., WFTV reported. Businesses in that area include Gerber Collision and Glass and Fiamma Inc., which manufactures awnings for recreational vehicles.
