The Orlando workplace shooter has been identified as John Robert Neumann Jr.

WATCH |  Police are investigating a "multiple fatality" shooting at an Orlando business.

UPDATE 3:30 p.m. EST:  WKMG shared a photo it says shows John Robert Neumann Jr.

UPDATE 2:51 p.m. EST:  Three victims have been identified.

UPDATE 2:49 p.m. EST:  Neumann was an Army veteran who lived alone.

UPDATE 2:40 p.m. EST:

The Orlando shooter has been identified as 45-year-old John Robert Neumann Jr.

Neumann's criminal history includes marijuana possession, DUI and misdemeanor battery charges, according to Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings.

UPDATE 1:59 p.m. EST:

The deceased shooter turned the gun on himself after fatally shooting five others, CNN reported, citing police.

UPDATE 12:01 p.m. EST:

Seven people survived the shooting inside Fiamma Inc., which produces accessories for recreational vehicles.

The gunman, who had a minor police record and no known associations with any terror groups, was fired in April.

Police responded to a battery complaint against the gunman at Fiamma Inc. in 2014. The complainant was not among those killed in Monday's shooting.

UPDATE 11:25 a.m. EST:

Six people, including the gunman, are dead after what authorities are calling an instance of workplace violence Monday in Orlando, Florida, reports WFTV.

A 45-year-old disgruntled former employee in possession of a handgun and a knife fatally shot three males and one female. The employee also shot a fifth man, who was taken the hospital where he died. 

UPDATE 10:20 a.m. EST:  The shooter was a "disgruntled employee," WPLG reported.

UPDATE 10:05 a.m. EST:  The shooting was workplace violence, not terrorism, WFTV reported.

UPDATE 10:03 a.m. EST:  Five people are dead, including the shooter, WFTV reported.

UPDATE 9:49 a.m. EST:  Authorities say the community is not in danger.

UPDATE 9:47 a.m. EST:

The shooting took place in an industrial area on Forsyth Road near Hanging Moss Road and was reported shortly after 8 a.m., WFTV reported. Businesses in that area include Gerber Collision and Glass and Fiamma Inc., which manufactures awnings for recreational vehicles.

UPDATE 9:44 a.m. EST:  The FBI is on the scene.

UPDATE 9:20 a.m. EST:  The sheriff's department said the shooting scene "has stabilized."

ORIGINAL STORY:  Authorities are responding to a "multiple fatality" incident at a business in Orlando, Florida, CNN reported, citing Capt. Angelo Nieves of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
