WATCH | 'March for Truth' protesters called for an independent Russia probe
Protesters in cities across the country took to the streets Saturday to call for an independent commission to investigate any possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
President Donald Trump has repeatedly denied those allegations.
In a release, the organizers of the march demanded:
- An independent commission must be established and Congressional investigations should be properly resourced and pursued free of partisan interests;
- As much information should be made available to the public as possible, and as soon as possible;
- Congress should require Donald Trump to release his tax returns to clarify his business interests and obligations to any foreign entity;
- If crimes were committed or if collusion is discovered, it must be prosecuted.
Demonstrations in Washington, D.C., New York, Boston, and Portland, were among more than 150 taking place nationwide.
In Washington, D.C., protesters spelled out "investigate Trump" on the National Mall.
Protesters in Washington, D.C. were met with a counter-protest in which Trump supporters voiced their approval of his decision to leave the Paris Agreement.
Two Trump supporters at the White House told CNN's Alejandro Alvarez that "CNN is ISIS."
Here's a look at some of the protests happening across the country.
