What's better than a Friday? Well, how about when National Doughnut Day falls on Friday and you can get free deliciousness at the end of a long week?
You're in luck people because it's National Doughnut Day and shops across the country are celebrating with free pastries.
National Doughnut Day was originally established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor those who served doughnuts to service members during World War I.
- Duck Donuts: Customers will receive one free doughnut of their choice with any purchase. In addition, receipts from Friday will include a special coupon for a buy one get one free half dozen.
- Dunkin’ Donuts: Get a free classic doughnut when you purchase a beverage.
- Krispy Kreme: Customers can get one free doughnut of their choice at participating locations.
- Tim Hortons: Get a free classic doughnut with the purchase of a brewed hot or iced coffee.
