Mike Huckabee backed Trump's priorities, saying 'a beheading is worse than a sunburn'

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee voiced support for President Trump's decision to prioritize fighting terrorism over climate change Sunday during an appearance on Fox News' "Fox and Friends."

"I think Donald Trump's on the right track," Huckabee said. "The climate he's trying to change is the climate of terrorism, because he knows that a beheading is still worse than a sunburn."

Huckabee's remarks came as Trump weighs whether to pull the U.S. from the Paris climate accord. Trump said in a tweet on Saturday that his final decision will come "next week."

Huckabee said the Paris deal and other international agreements "always put a greater burden on the United States than anyone else."

"We're not even the main polluters," Huckabee said. "We've done a lot to clean up this country. And we're not putting out the kind of pollution that we once were."
