Reese Witherspoon stopped by her old Stanford dorm room and surprised one lucky student

What's better than finally getting your dorm room all packed up before summer vacation? How about having Reese Witherspoon casually stop by for a visit?

The 41-year-old actress did just that over the weekend while visiting her old stomping grounds at Standford University.

“Surprise! While re-visiting @Stanford, I popped by my old dorm room. and met its newest tenant, Caitlyn!” Witherspoon captioned an Instagram photo. “She was so nice; she even welcomed me in!”

Witherspoon, who attended the university in the '90s, never graduated and instead opted to pursue a career as an actress.

This past week she was on campus to speak at an event for the Stanford Graduate School of Business, according to People.

"Thank you @stanfordbusiness for having me yesterday," Witherspoon captioned an Instagram post on Saturday. "It was a[n] honor to share my experiences and chat with all of you bright minds. Keep studying hard and dreaming big!"
