Sears is quietly closing more stores than it said it would. Is yours on the list?


The list of additional Sears Holdings closures has grown.

The company announced at the start of the year that it is closing 150 underperforming stores, with most scheduled to shut their doors in July, according to reports. Now, the company plans to close an additional 30 stores: 12 Sears stores and 18 Kmarts are among the locations that are closing.

The closures are an effort to cut costs by $1 billion. Sears continues to operate about 1,400 stores. Here's a list of additional store closures the company has revealed so far:

Most of the stores on the new list will start liquidation sales in April and close in July, though some will shut down in August, according to Business Insider.
