These alcoholic doughnuts let you get tipsy with your morning sugar rush

WATCH: The Doughnut Project's special edition boozy doughnuts are inspired by their favorite cocktails

The Doughnut Project  is nearing the end of their Cocktail Series, in which they made a different doughnut based on a different cocktail every weekend for the last 5 weekends. They will be making the Maysville Doughnut, a bourbon-infused doughnut based on the Noreaster cocktail, for the last weekend of their series on May 18-21.

The Cocktail Series is a follow-up to their Restaurant Series, when they made doughnuts based on their favorite dishes from different Manhattan restaurants.

There is alcohol. Not enough to get you drunk, but I wouldn't operate any machinery.

And of course, The Doughnut Project offers all sorts of other typer non-boozy doughnuts
