NEW YORK (CIRCA) — The Doughnut Project's special-edition boozy doughnuts are inspired by its favorite cocktails.

The Doughnut Project is nearing the end of its Cocktail Series, in which it made a doughnut based on a different cocktail every weekend for the last five weekends. It will be making the Maysville Doughnut, a bourbon-infused doughnut based on the nor'easter cocktail, for the last weekend of the series, May 18-21.

The Cocktail Series is a follow-up to the Doughnut Project's Restaurant Series, when it made doughnuts based on its favorite dishes from different Manhattan restaurants.

And of course, the Doughnut Project offers all sorts of non-boozy doughnuts.
