During a Wednesday Fox Sports Radio interview, LaVar Ball became defensive when cohost Kristine Leahy pressed him about how many $495 Big Baller Brand shoes he has sold, telling her to "stay in your lane," according to Bleacher Report.
The remarks came after Leahy asked if his company, Big Baller Brand, was marketing towards women. "Well, yeah, if you have a women's company," Ball replied.
Ball is the father of Lonzo Ball, who starred at UCLA and is projected as one of the top picks in the 2017 NBA Draft.
The tension peaks around the six-minute mark.
"She can report to whoever she want to behind her," Ball said, referring to Leahy.
"What is your problem with me?" Leahy asked.
"My problem with you is you are a hater," LaVar responded.
LaVar explained his "hater" description of Leahy, saying that she reportedly once said that his brand was offensive. But Leahy corrected him, saying that she personally wouldn't wear anything with "Big Baller Brand" on a shirt.
