WATCH | PEZ candies have been a staple of American pop culture for generations. The iconic company's North American headquarters and factory is located in Orange, Connecticut, and welcomes PEZ admirers to come and experience the visitor center -- a building that's home to all things PEZ.
The visitor center offers an interactive review of PEZ history.
It features the largest collection of PEZ memorabilia on public display in the world.
When you enter the visitor center you walk right into the largest PEZ dispenser you will probably ever see in your life.
There are over 4,000 PEZ dispensers in the museum.
The visitor center has a ton of rare, limited edition dispensers and memorabilia on display. This "Star Wars" limited-edition Darth Vader dispenser was signed by actor David Prowse.
You will also run into the PEZ-themed motorcycle built by Orange County Choppers in 2006. The custom bike was built when PEZ introduced the first living people on a PEZ dispenser.
There's even a Camila Elphick designer PEZ heel.
A cool part of the museum is the viewing area into the PEZ production floor.
PEZ candies were invented in Vienna, Austria, in 1927 by Eduard Haas III as an alternative to smoking. The original PEZ candies came in a tin, not in a dispenser as we are used to seeing them.
