It's no surprise that there are some serious "Star Wars" fans out there who are committed to celebrating the fourth of May with resounding enthusiasm. In fact, one high school student who dressed as a stormtrooper forced a high school in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, to evacuate after a parent mistakenly took the outfit for a flak jacket or bulletproof vest, affiliate Fox 11 reported.
The concerned parent called the police, and students were instructed not to enter the school, and to meet at rally points in the community while the school was searched.

"Apparently it's 'May the force be with you' day today," said high school principal Brian Nelsen. "And the student was in a costume that presented a perceived threat and so, as a result, a parent who was out in front identified or saw this and called public safety, which we would expect the parent to do."

Nelsen added the student made a mistake, noting that costumes are prohibited at Ashwaubenon High School.
"We'll make it a learning lesson," he continued. "I'll . be meeting with students to re-emphasize that we have to keep each other safe and we can't make poor choices like this."
