Yesterday, Homeland Security's newly created Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement Office launched a support hotline for victims of crimes committed by undocumented immigrants (or illegal aliens).
Phones are already ringing off the hook. But not with the aliens the administration may have been expecting. Instead, pranksters have flooded the lines with calls about space aliens, BuzzFeed reports.
Wouldn't it be a shame if millions of people called this hotline to report their encounters with aliens of the UFO-variety. https://t.co/Cl048Gihnk

There are certainly more constructive ways to make one's opinions heard ...
An ICE spokesperson said the hotline had been "tied up by hoax callers" that were preventing people from receiving the help they need.
The automated hotline urges callers not to report crimes through that number, but to call local law enforcement.
