First, it was $66 collard greens. Then, it was $95 "clear knee mom jeans." Now, it's $425 "fake mud jeans."
That's right. Thanks to Nordstrom's latest fashion product, customers can now purchase distressed jeans that appear to be covered in mud, affiliate WJLA reported.
The "Barracuda Straight Leg Jeans" are described as, "heavily distressed medium-blue denim jeans in a comfortable straight-leg fit embody rugged, Americana workwear that's seen some hard-working action with a crackled, caked-on muddy coating that shows you're not afraid to get down and dirty."
Not everyone, however, is responding so positively to the product. Mike Rowe, known for his stint on "Dirty Jobs," blasted the company for its ironic attempts to sell such an expensive that would have been otherwise likely worn by blue-collar employees.
