A man shot his boss and then himself, prompting the evacuation of a Dallas office building


UPDATE 2:41 p.m. EST:

A man entered a Dallas office building Monday and shot his boss before turning the gun on himself, WFAA reported. The gunman was killed, and the boss's condition is unclear.

The shooting took place at about 10:10 a.m. local time on the 10th floor of a building in the 8300 block of Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway. The building was evacuated about 20 minutes later.

ORIGINAL STORY: Reports of an active shooter led to the evacuation of a Dallas office building on Monday.

Dallas Fire-Rescue told KXAS that emergency crews were dispatched to the interstate service road around 10:45 local time.

CBS Dallas-Fort Worth reports at least two people were shot.
