A UPS mixup on 4/20 landed 10 pounds of weed into the hands of a female pastor


Law enforcement officials are attempting to solve who shipped 10 pounds of marijuana from Sacramento, Calif., to a pastor in the Philadelphia suburbs, according to the Associated Press. Police said the packaged drug arrived on Thursday, aka 4/20. The marijuana was stuffed into a plastic bucket inside a cardboard box that was delivered by the United Parcel Service.

The woman who received the weed is a female pastor and explained to police it wasn't meant for her. 

Police Chief Donald Molineux said the pastor is "very upset and traumatized" and afraid someone might come to her home looking for the drugs. Medical marijuana 

Law enforcement officials are speculating that someone else may have been instructed to watch out for the package but failed to pick it up.

Police are hoping surveillance video from a drop-off location will identify who shipped the package.

Medical marijuana in Pennsylvania was recently legalized, but recreational use continues to be banned.
