The Memphis Grizzlies' coach went off on the refs in an epic rant: 'Take that for data'

Memphis Grizzlies coach David Fizdale may have given the world the best new way to end an argument.

After the Grizzlies fell to the San Antonio Spurs 96-82 in the first round of the NBA playoffs, Fizdale blamed the loss on the referees, claiming they gave the Spurs far too many free throws.

Fizdale launched his rant by rattling off free throw statistics, pointing to the fact that Spurs star Kawhi Leonard took 19 free throws, more than the entire Grizzlies team. He got more and more heated as he went on.

Here's the full rant.

Some Grizzlies fans loved his passion.

The "take that for data" signoff quickly became a fan favorite.

But rivals bashed him for being a sore loser.
