Trump misplaced his hand during the anthem, drawing a nudge from Melania and criticism


Monday's Easter Egg Roll appeared to have gone smoothly.

But some eagle-eyed observers saw First Lady Melania Trump nudge her husband's hand, which was at his side, as the national anthem was sung. He then quickly moved his hand over his heart, as is traditional for the anthem.

This drew criticism from Trump critics on Twitter.

Some found it poignant that Melania is an immigrant.

Some recalled Trump's past comments about his daughter Ivanka.

But some argued it was a non-issue.

And others brushed it off as a minor mistake.
