Monday's Easter Egg Roll appeared to have gone smoothly.
But some eagle-eyed observers saw First Lady Melania Trump nudge her husband's hand, which was at his side, as the national anthem was sung. He then quickly moved his hand over his heart, as is traditional for the anthem.
This drew criticism from Trump critics on Twitter.
Here's the moment it happens.
Melania had to remind Trump to place his hand on his chest for the National Anthem? It's emblematic of his Presidency. His hearts not in it.— Cyrus McQueen (@CyrusMMcQueen) April 17, 2017
Then came the critics.
If it wasn't for an "IMMIGRANT" there, Trump would have forgotten to hold his hand up on his chest during an AMERICAN National Anthem.— Farhad Syed (@fsyedm786) April 17, 2017
Some found it poignant that Melania is an immigrant.

Some recalled Trump's past comments about his daughter Ivanka.
Melania had to remind Trump to put his hand on his own chest for the pledge of allegiance and not on a random young woman's.— OhNoSheTwitnt 🏳️🌈 (@OhNoSheTwitnt) April 17, 2017
But some argued it was a non-issue.
And others brushed it off as a minor mistake.
