Target has recalled all 560,000 "Hatch & Grow Easter Eggs," according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
No injuries have been reported yet, but Target says the Easter toys that can expand when they absorb water could be hazardous and even life-threatening for kids, NBC News reports.
A Consumer Product Safety Commission "Fast Track" recall was issued Thursday.
The recall notes the toys, sold at Target for around $1 in February and March, could grow larger inside a child's body if swallowed, causing "intestinal obstructions" that could lead to vomiting, dehydration, and even death.
The recall also warns parents and medical personnel that if ingested, X-rays might not be able to spot the toys inside kids who've ingested them.
Consumers can get a full refund by bringing the toys back to a Target store, checking out Target's website, or calling 800-440-0680.
