And here's the poster for "The Last Jedi," full of retro goodness.

Josh Gad, who hosted the "Last Jedi" panel at the convention, raved about both major reveals.

Peter Mayhew, who plays Chewbacca in the films, appeared to be equally enthused.

A psyched Elizabeth Banks was seeking answers to the trailer's visual clues.

Chris Miller, who's directing the Han Solo spinoff, had a Yoda screen cap do the talking.

The poster reminded retired NFL star Matthew Cherry of a song from another film.

Comedian Sean O'Connor may be doing some home improvement this weekend.

And comedian Kevin Seccia was hoping someone, anyone, online would offer a trailer review.

Even Major League Baseball's account got hyped.

Before the trailer release, super-fan Kevin Smith sought a distraction from the news cycle.
