As a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, the Paris native has advocated for "HeForShe", which encourages men to fight for gender equality worldwide. Her related 2014 U.N. speech was so influential, it convinced Malala Yousafzai, a co-recipient of the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, to identify as a feminist.

Emma Watson is a Book Ninja

A self-proclaimed "book ninja", Watson launched the feminist book club "Our Shared Shelf", which has more than 187,000 members on Goodreads.

Being rewarded for strong work ethic

With the success of her “Beauty and the Beast” reboot, she's on pace to become the world's highest-earning actress, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It's due in part to her strong work ethic, which she described to GQ in 2013: "I really believe that you have to earn things. I don’t feel comfortable unless I have worked really hard."
