The original Tamagotchi is coming back. This is not a drill, '90s kids.

The original Tamagotchi you were obsessed with in the '90s is coming back.

Bandai is re-releasing the original version of the classic digital pet toy, the company announced Tuesday. There have been years of updated and refined versions, but this one returns to the classic model. The only difference is the toy itself is half the size of the original, which released in the U.S. in 1997.

Since being replaced by updated versions, the original Tamagotchi has become a collector's item, selling for as much as $130 on Amazon despite selling for just $18 when it released.

For now, the new old Tamagotchi is only available in Japan.

Their popularity never really died, if Twitter is anything to show for it.
