21st Century Fox will open an investigation into sexual harassment claims against Bill O'Reilly after a New York Times report claimed he and his employer spent $13 million to settle five lawsuits, CNN reported.
Lisa Bloom, a lawyer representing one of the accusers, said Fox was taking the claims "very seriously." O'Reilly is a host for Fox News, which is owned by 21st Century Fox. A Fox spokesman told CNN the company "investigates all complaints" and hired law firm Paul Weiss to assist in the investigation.
WATCH | O'Reilly was parodied on the most recent episode of "Saturday Night Live," in which Baldwin played the Fox host and President Trump at the same time to rave reviews.
The worst part of my job is being a target for those who would harm me and my employer...
O'Reilly said no coworker ever filed a complaint about him, including on an anonymous hotline.
