Just months after giving birth to her first child, Janet Jackson has split with her husband, Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana, People magazine confirmed.
While one source told Fox News the split was amicable, another said Jackson felt Al Mana "had become too controlling during the pregnancy and she had already allowed him to dictate her appearance and even the way she performed at concerts."
The couple welcomed their baby boy, Eissa Al Mana, on Jan. 3, shortly afterJackson announced plans to postpone her Unbreakable World Tour.
Jackson and Al Mana were married in a simple and private ceremony in 2012. This was Jackson's third marriage.
It remains unclear whether the couple had a prenuptial agreement and who will have primary custody of their child, according to the Huffington Post.
