Ivanka Trump wants everyone to know she's not running for president in 2024. But Chelsea Clinton isn't as sure.
In a Wednesday interview on "CBS This Morning," the president's daughter was asked if voters should "get their Ivanka 2024 campaign signs out." She said no, adding that "politics is a tough business."
During the same show, Clinton said she was "definitely not the right person to defeat (Trump) in 2020," but acknowledged that "we all need to be asking ourselves that question periodically."
Here's a clip of the Trump interview.
Ivanka currently serves as an unpaid employee in the White House, where her husband Jared Kushner is a senior adviser to the president.
Right now, the answer is no. But I think we all need to be asking ourselves that question periodically.
Clinton didn't suggest a presidential run would come any time soon, but she acknowledged the possibility of a future run.
She is currently making media appearances to promote her book "It's Your World" and her upcoming children's book "She Persisted."
