Apple's desktop computer, the Mac Pro, hasn't been revamped since 2013, but that may soon change. Phil Schiller, the Apple senior vice president of worldwide marketing, acknowledged that it's completely rethinking its design, Tech Crunch reported.
"We have a team working hard on it right now, and we want to architect it so that we can keep it fresh with regular improvements, and we're committed to making it our highest-end, high throughput desktop system, designed for our demanding pro customers," he said.

The announced changes to the high-end desktop computer come just a few months after Apple unveiled the newest version of its MacBook Pro, which includes a Touch Bar, a thinner structure and more dynamic audio system.
And it doesn't look like you'll have to wait that long to get your hands on the newest Mac Pro version. It's expected to ship sometime next year.
