Stephen Colbert gave that 'Hi Stranger' claymation video a Trump makeover

Stephen Colbert may have just successfully made the "Hi Stranger" claymation video creepier than the original by giving it a President Donald Trump makeover.

Now, if you aren't familiar with this 2-minute, 42-second stop-motion video that's been circulating on social media, it features a naked figure that whispers sweet nothings to the camera.

“I feel like I can really be vulnerable around you," the figure says as it looks at the camera.

Here's the full claymation video.

"There is sort of a debate on the internet about this thing. Some people find it kind of comforting, others want to know if you can take out a restraining order against a cartoon," Colbert said. "Some people have said its the most disturbing cartoon they've ever seen."

Colbert and the folks at "The Late Show" created a Trump remake of the video. In it, Trump is wearing a pair of "Make America Great Again" bikini briefs and has a "Putin" lower-back tattoo.

"I just want to sit here and relax with you, maybe take a shower, you know what I mean," Trump tells the viewer, who turns out to be a disgusted and shocked cartoon version of Melania Trump.

“I think we won,” Colbert said to the audience. “I think we won that challenge.”
