Soccer legend Ronaldo is extremely good-looking. This bust in his honor, well, is not.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best soccer players of all time. So naturally, the airport in his hometown of Madeira, Portugal, renamed the airport and made a bust to honor him after Portugal won the 2016 European championship, Sky News reports.

Problem is, that statue looks hilariously inaccurate. It captured Ronaldo's smile, but little else.

As ever, Twitter had no mercy.

It did spawn this masterful GIF.

And this masterful Photoshop.

And it brought some levity to a day of very serious news in Europe.
