A-Rod's melodramatic tweet of himself in deep thought had people rolling

Alex Rodriguez is one of the most iconic and controversial baseball players in history.

But all talk of his illustrious career and performance-enhancing drug controversy was pushed aside late Tuesday after he tweeted a dramatically lit photo of himself thinking very hard about something very important: Who would win the World Series this year?

Twitter, of course, jumped on the opportunity to poke fun at A-Rod.

Here's the original moody tweet.

And then came the parodies.

Some were clearly waiting to use their favorite A-Rod GIF.

Others may have had a few too many photos of the star on hand.

Some resurrected the classic meme of a stressed kid.

This parody is just some dramatic lighting away from perfection.

We have to agree with this person's advice.

Surprisingly, some people took the tweet seriously.

But it seemed like they were a minority.
