Rapper Willie "Fetty Wap" Maxwell was involved in a shooting that led to three people being wounded in South Paterson, New Jersey.
The Paterson Press reports Maxwell, a Paterson native, was not hurt. He is currently not a suspect in the shooting, which took place early Sunday morning, and police did not offer details on the victims' ties to the rapper.
Paterson Deputy Police Chief Troy Oswald said a fight involving the rapper escalated into a shooting. All injuries were non-life-threatening.

Maxwell has only mentioned vaguely positive messages on Twitter since Sunday.
