WATCH | Getaway rents you a tiny house near your city, but doesn't let you know the address in advance so you can avoid all distractions.
Here's how it works: you book a tiny house (a bare bones, 160-square-foot cabin on wheels) on the Getaway website. Once you are booked (for $99-129 a night) you will be given an address and an access code. You drive to your tiny house (playlist provided for the drive), where there will be a fire pit, some snacks, a bed, kitchenette and bathroom... and no wi-fi. Founder and CEO Jon Staff said Getaway wants to provide an easy escape from the city with as little planning and as few distractions as possible. Getaway currently has locations available near Boston and New York City.
We want to make at as simple as possible for you to escape your daily routine.
Customers are encouraged to lock up their cell phones.
WATCH | And once you put your phone in the cell phone lockbox, you will be able to take a break from your invisible boyfriend as well.
