"Orange Is the New Black" star Samira Wiley married her longtime partner Lauren Morelli in a quiet Palm Springs, California, ceremony Saturday.
The brides met while working on the set of the Netflix original show. Wiley, as most fans know, plays Poussey Washington on the show and Morelli is one of the show's writers.
The couple's wedding was held at the same location where they got engaged last year.
Beth Helmstetter Events planned the couple's confetti-themed wedding, which was based on their desire for a non-traditional ceremony as well as their love of Pillsbury Funfetti cake, according to Martha Stewart Weddings.
Wiley's parents reportedly officiated the ceremony and their recessional featured Montell Jordan's "This Is How We Do It." They carried that upbeat pop-theme to their reception as well, making their grand entrance to Justin Beiber's "Baby."
Morelli and Wiley both wore custom-designed Christian Siriano outfits down the aisle. Their first dance was even accented with a blast of confetti.
Morelli was previously married but split from her husband after she realized she was gay while writing for "Orange Is the New Black." She later went public about her relationship with Wiley, People magazine reports.
