A Florida man received a police citation for eating pancakes in the middle of the street

This brings brunch to a whole new level.

Lakewood police in Florida said they've charged a Florida man recorded on video sitting in the middle of the street eating pancakes, according to the Associated Press.  Kiaron Thomas' citation came after a person notified police that there was a man sitting in the crosswalk of a busy intersection with a small TV tray in front of him while eating the breakfast items.

Police responded to the call, but Thomas had already left at that point.

The 21-year-old later admitted in a police interview that he did it as a prank.
