WATCH | Which Trump tweet garnered the most interactions this week?
Welcome to This Week in Tweets, where we break down the worst and best of POTUS' tweets from his @RealDonaldTrump account.
The tweet that got the most retweets since March 8th was this one about the connections between Russia and the Clinton campaign.
What about all of the contact with the Clinton campaign and the Russians? Also, is it true that the DNC would not let the FBI in to look?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 20, 2017
That tweet sent Monday minutes before the House Intelligence Committee held a hearing with FBI Director James Comey and NSA Director Mike Rogers on Russian interference during the election was retweeted more than 21 thousand times.
And also happened to be his most replied to tweet, garnering 42 thousand replies with some who agreed and some who didn't.
Like this one from actress Patricia Arquette who didn’t hold back her feelings about the president.
You are a fake president. You sold America out for power and oil deals. GO AWAY! #AntiPatriot #TrumpRussia
— Patricia Arquette (@PattyArquette) March 20, 2017
America was sold a long time ago.@realDonaldTrump is trying to buy it back and give it to we the people

But not everyone is on the same page as her, like this self described fighter of ignorance.
These tweets have everything you go on Twitter for with accusations of fake news, rumors of foreign espionage, and passion. But let’s take a step back and put this all in context. Monday the House Intel Committee was holding a hearing on Russian interference in our election. Russia has publicly been outted for interfering and trying to influence the election, most notably for their release of hacked information on Clinton and her allies. So many Dems think Trump’s campaign colluded with the Russians though no evidence has appeared to prove it.
Trump’s tweet appears to be an attempt to muddy the waters ahead of the hearings, but he may not have succeeded. The FBI confirmed that they are investigating any links between the Trump campaign and Russian officials.
