The Twitter war between Arnold Schwarzenegger and President Trump rages on.
Schwarzenegger, who recently quit as host of the Trump-produced "The Celebrity Apprentice," blasted Trump on Tuesday for his approval rating, which hit a new low of 37 percent in a recent Gallup poll. He also took aim at Trump's controversial budget proposal.
Trump had previously bashed Schwarzenegger for the low "Apprentice" ratings during his brief tenure as host.
Here's Schwarzenegger's video.
When you take away after-school programs ... and Meals on Wheels for the poor people, that's not what you call making America great again.
Schwarzenegger offered to take Trump to Hart Middle School in Washington, D.C. to see its after-school programs, which he accused Trump of axing in his budget.
Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't voluntarily leaving the Apprentice, he was fired by his bad (pathetic) ratings, not by me. Sad end to great show— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 4, 2017
Trump has yet to respond. But here's the last salvo he fired earlier this month.
Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got "swamped" (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT. So much for....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2017
Schwarzenegger said Trump "got swamped," using Trump's own words from January.
Trump had originally promised Schwarzenegger would "be great" on the show.
