President Trump signed a bill directing NASA to get people on Mars and celebrated National Agriculture Day.
He did both in one very confusing tweet.
The @POTUS account tweeted on Tuesday the following message: "Honored to sign S.442 today. With this legislation, we support @NASA's scientists, engineers, and astronauts in their pursuit of discovery!" He attached a photo of a "Proclamation" marking today as "National Agriculture Day."
Here's the tweet.
It appeared to be a mixup with another tweet sent from @realdonaldtrump...
...and this one.
"We support NASA and its space exploration, so here's a day literally about earth."— Jeffrey Grubb (@JeffGrubb) March 21, 2017
Of course, Twitter noticed.
Trump: "Small addendum to last tweet. NASA is now National Agriculture and Sandwich Administration."— Jeffrey Grubb (@JeffGrubb) March 21, 2017
Just to clarify, agriculture is in the ground, not in space.— Scone_Mason (@Scone_Mason) March 21, 2017
bruh I think you confused the words "agriculture" and "astronomer"— Grey Goon (@GreyGoon) March 21, 2017
