Tomi Lahren, host of a self-titled program on The Blaze, was suspended for at least a week beginning Monday, sources told The Daily Caller.
This came after Blaze founder Glenn Beck questioned Lahren's political beliefs on Twitter. Lahren, a rising conservative star, said on her show that she was pro-choice and a libertarian. Beck, also a self-styled libertarian, said her support of President Trump contradicted her claims to libertarian ideology.
WATCH | One of Lahren's most famous segments involved harsh criticism of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick for refusing to stand for the national anthem.
WATCH | Lahren said in an appearance on "The View" on Friday she was pro-choice.
"Stay out of my guns and you can stay out of my body, as well," Lahren said.
Beck called out Lahren on Twitter for what he saw as hypocrisy.
Beck said on his show that Lahren was not being punished for being pro-choice, since one of his first shows, "Real News," was hosted by the pro-choice Amy Holmes.
However, they argued Lahren's claim of being pro-choice was a recent shift, citing a clip of past shows where she called pro-choice people "straight-up baby killers."
Lahren didn't seem fazed on Twitter.
She also insisted she didn't "personally advocate" for abortion.
Funny, some of the self-appointed "conservative police" now attacking me are the same folks who hated Trump, said he wouldn't win...🤔— Tomi Lahren (@TomiLahren) March 19, 2017
After reports broke that she had been suspended, she tweeted she had some "me time."
This life can be lonely. Thank you to those-on all sides of the political spectrum-for the support. Agree/disagree, it means the world. ❤🇺🇸— Tomi Lahren (@TomiLahren) March 21, 2017

Conservatives: RIGHT ON!
[Tomi Lahren says women should have the right to choose]
Conservatives: BURN HER!
But critics of Lahren argued her new opponents were still misguided.
Some argued she was racist.
Others outright celebrated her suspension.
