A Republican Senator accused the EPA of 'brainwashing our kids'

Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) accused the Environmental Protection Agency of "brainwashing our kids" with "propaganda" in a CNN interview Thursday.

Inhofe said that EPA programs like the Clean Air Act were "very successful," but he was opposed to the "nature of the bureaucracy."

"We want to deliver the services. We want to make things clean," Inhofe said. "But we ought to take all this stuff that comes out of the EPA that's brainwashing our kids, that is propaganda."

Here's a clip from that interview.

The EPA faces heavy budget cuts under Trump's proposed budget.  Some reports include a 31 percent budget decrease.
