Police in Germany's capital are searching for a bicyclist who sprayed liquid, occasionally battery acid, at multiple women in the past three months.
Police said the Berlin attacks, which began Dec. 7, involved battery acid at least four times. One woman suffered serious facial injuries.
One witness described the attacker as 35-45 years old, light-skinned and wearing a baseball cap.
It's difficult to predict these attacks, but we're working hard to find the culprit.
It is not yet known if the cases are connected, according to German English-language newspaper The Local.
In all cases, a bicyclist rode up to a random woman walking at night and sprayed her with some liquid. One witness said her attacker used a water gun.
